Kindah Roots: real opportunities, rooted in community.
Kindah Roots is our community program, separate from our client work. We are not a training school. We give skilled young people real projects where they can put the skills they already have to work, then point that work toward the small businesses and community organizations that need it most. Launching March 2027.
Three ways in, one shared goal.
For apprentices
For skilled young people who already have the talent and want real projects to apply it, through a less traditional, more flexible and creative route.
- Real client and community projects to apply your skills, not practice briefs
- Knowledge, tools and software shared by our team
- Paid or volunteer roles, depending on the project
- Free skills certification programs shared with you, and some paid ones covered
- Sometimes tech like a laptop, when grants or partners make it possible
- Remote, flexible schedules that fit your life
- Support to build your own business or start your own initiative, alongside people like you
- A space where you can be yourself, breathe and grow at your own pace
For small businesses and nonprofits
For local businesses and community organizations doing good work without the budget for an agency. Spots are limited: applications open in rounds, and we select the businesses and nonprofits that qualify.
- Websites, branding and campaigns built by apprentice teams, free for selected businesses and nonprofits
- Every project guided and checked by our team
- Clear timelines and a simple handover so you own everything
- A chance to help grow the next generation of local talent
For partners
For funders, community groups, schools and businesses who want their support to reach real people and show real results.
- Clear outcomes and regular impact reports
- Projects in the communities you care about
- Volunteer and mentoring roles for your team
- A first look at skilled, job-ready talent
- Recognition on our website and social channels, if you want it
What each partner gets.

Community organizations
Nonprofits, churches, youth groups and community centers who know where help is needed.
- A chance for your organization to be selected for a free website, branding or campaign
- Referral of the small businesses and causes you serve
- Apprentices from your own community
- A long-term partner that shows up, not a one-time project
Schools and training programs
High schools, colleges and workforce programs with students ready for real experience.
- Real portfolio projects for your students
- Mentors who are working creatives
- Progress updates on the students you refer
- Flexible, remote placements that fit around classes

Companies that can share tools, software, expertise or time.
- Volunteer and mentoring roles for your team

- Your support connected to real, local results
- Recognition for in-kind support, if you want it
What makes us different.
Accountability you can see
We report back. Partners get regular updates on what was built, which apprentices took part and which organizations were served, so you always know where your support went.
Community before profit
We serve community whether or not there is money in it. Kindah Roots exists because the people and places we care about deserve great work too.
Rooted through the clients we serve
We already work with nonprofits, conservation groups and community organizations. Kindah Roots grows from that work and the relationships behind it.
A team connected to community
We are named for the Kindah tree in Accompong, Jamaica, where the community has gathered for generations. Our team lives and works in the communities we serve, and we take part in initiatives that help us grow, connect and look after the world around us.
Room for skilled young people
Talent does not always fit a traditional path. We open flexible, creative routes for skilled youth, back them when they want to build their own thing, and connect them with others doing the same.
We partner, we do not just hire
Our agency works as a collective of independent specialists. Kindah Roots carries that same spirit: people grow with us as partners, on terms that respect their own goals.
Free for those selected.
Kindah Roots is built to be funded by grants, government programs that support youth employment, workforce development and digital access, and partner sponsorships. That keeps projects free for the small businesses and nonprofits we select, and lets us pay apprentices for real work, provide tech like laptops and cover certification costs wherever we can.
If you represent a foundation, agency or program with funding that fits this work, we would love to talk.
